Little expensive, but well worth it. This thing is like my pacifier. I've never had anything I liked so much -- this is why I couldn't wait to be a grown-up. I got the 67 and 62T and they're both great. The trainer feels heavier somehow, but I love it; it does its job.

I was really picky on the Lasermark I wanted and they gave me exactly what I asked for. Love Benchmade. Get a Bali-Song!

I own both the 62 and 63 and am thoroughly pleased with both. While not the competition ready flipper the 42 was, thats only one aspect of balisong utility. That said I can still do any and every trick on a 62 that I can with a 42, it just takes a bit more conviction and attention. These new bali's are more of a throwback to the original customs that founded the company back when I was a kid. Therefore I'm very happy to see them in the lineup and hope they remain in production for a long time. The finish on the D2 blade is gorgeous and the thick handles bouncing off the zen pin gives a satisfying low pitched click that makes putting the knife down difficult. Combine that with the Benchmade name, made in the USA, and price tag and one can't help but feel a sense pride and enjoyment while admiring and maneuvering the knife. The price tag is indeed a steep one, but if you add up all the time spent having fun with knife in hand, with all my blades, the total would so favor my balis it almost makes the cost irrelevant. For people who choose the 62 as an implement of public safety it has some advantages as well. The heavier weight will deliver more concussion on impact hence deeper cuts than the 42. The shorter handles give just the right amount to hold on to and no more. This not only provides more leverage and power to your cuts but leaves less handle protruding which can get caught or snagged in a struggle. Also the shorter grip allows you to deploy the blade in a tighter space closer to the body. Finally the blade profile is more aggressive in the weehawk persuasion than the 42. The wider swedge runs well over half the blade length and should pierce like a dagger with minimal resistance. Over all whatever your use is I'm sure you'll be pleased with the 60 line they're first class balis from the company who helped put them on the map a long time ago.

It is the best heavy flipper I have ever flipped with the possible exception of the 42. Get it!!!
