I like this knife as a companion to my smaller knives for the heavy duty chores. This is a good all around survival or camp knife used to chop and cut of larger materials and food. Bit of a Novelty but any time you go any where in the world where people live in survival mode everyday you will see they carry a big knife. The quality of this knife is top notch and it holds a very sharp edge for a long time.

the knife has a great look and feel right out off the bat, but as i used the knife more snd more i fell in love. hack down trees, chop wood, whittle, process an elk. i thought that this knife would be to big for smaller tasks. but i have found that the finger choil in the blade makes all that possible. a great knife, period. you will not regret buying this beautiful peice of oregon engineering!
