I'm a Balisong flipper and I've been flipping a spyderfly since February, it's about time I get a good quality flipper. I've had my 51 for a while now and I love it, no problems at all! Great knife although Stainless steel would be better. But anyone who flips balis definitely needs a 51

I loved this knife. But, in less than a month, the screws started to come loose and then came off.
I am disappointed very much for a blade from Benchmade to come apart that fast with little use.

I actually bought mine a couple years ago when it was still called the fifty one morpho(it seems as though that's changed to morpho family? I'm confused honestly) from a store that wasn't owned by benchmade because I really wanted the knife and I didn't know much about online ordering back then. Regardless it's easily my favorite knife, I love it so much.

I actually purchased my knife from an outside source because I didn't need the inscription or anything along those lines, just really wanted the knife. The knife has an amazing durability, can hold an edge for a very long time, and when you use lifesharp it comes back really really sharp. The best part is that once it starts to get loose you can just order new screws and then it's good as new!

Amazing knife but I think using a stainless steel for the blade would be better than a tool steel because a lot of people who buy a butterfly knife don't buy it for EDC they buy it to flip it. And a lot of people don't want to oil their blade.

I've had my 51 for almost 2 years and it has held up well as an EDC. Milling is on point and specs are tight. Not going to lie, when i got it i was a little disappointed to find how light it actually was (compared to my Kimura) It took some time getting used to but i love it. Lets be honest, BM knifes are a bit overpriced dare i say BUT, you get quality. With the price, it would have been nice to see it come with maybe 2 different sets of G10 scales. Oh well. Quality is top notch. Pricey. Little extras would have been nice to see for the price.
Overall. It has been great. Looking to get Flytanium scales to replace the G10 ;)
