I purchased this knife to replace my Benchmade Adamas and I really wasn't sure how I felt about it when I first picked it up. But after carrying it and using it I fell in love with it. My main concern was the space between the pocket clip and the G10 handle. There is a lot of texture on the handle and I was afraid the rough texture and the strong pocket clip would wear out the material on my pants or would be difficult to put away.

After I carried it a few days I have no complaints. The knife opens so smooth that everything else I own feels cheap. The blade is sharp. I test all my knives by cutting 1,800 pound mule tape. I sliced through 12 layers in a single pass. That equates to 21,600 pound tensile strength sliced through like a stick of butter.

The liner lock concerned me because I've never owned one, but after a little bit of use my hands are so used to it that when I pick up my Adamas I reach for the liner to close it by accident.

This really is a great knife. The full titanium liners look great and the entire knife feels very solid. I can't say enough good things about this knife.

Great solid knife. Action is extremely smooth and if you have the blade pivot screw snuggled up just a tiny bit it stays closed just fine. Feels like a big knife in your hand but doesn't take up excess room in your pocket. My favorite Benchmade so far, and I have a lot of them.

Solid lockup, sturdy construction, very good benchmade quality, beefy but still easy to handle. Personal preferences that I would change: drop point blade and tip down carry. Blade will come open while running, should be worn on the hip.

I have number 86-1000 first production of this one, nice design designed for what you would think would be black class, it's a tuff think class and the scales are super grippy, the liner lock is tight and it's a solid lock up, deff one of my favorites.
