We understand that our commitment as an American manufacturer goes far beyond designing quality products. As a result, we are proud to support a variety of non-profit organizations that align with the interests and causes of our core customers.
Foundations supported by product
We support the below foundations by donating a portion of the proceeds from products you purchase. When you purchase our Orange Altitude, Pink Griptilian, or any model of the Adamas family, you are directly helping these foundations in their mission to serve.

Back Country Hunters and Anglers
Supported when you purchase: 15200ORG Altitude
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers seeks to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters.
"This country has been swinging the hammer of development so long and so hard that it has forgotten the anvil of wilderness which gave value and significance to its labors. The momentum of our blows is so unprecedented that the remaining remnant of wilderness will be pounded into road-dust long before we find out its values."
- Aldo Leopold in 1935.
The membership of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers values the traditions and heritage our wild lands, waters and wildlife sustain and we are driven to protect our wild places before the value noted by Leopold is lost forever.
Non-Profits We Support

American Knife and Tool Institute
Our mission is to ensure that Americans will always be able to make, buy, sell, own, carry and use knives and edged tools.
The American Knife & Tool Institute (AKTI) is a non-profit organization (501(c)6) representing all segments of the knife industry and all knife users. Formed in true grassroots fashion by concerned industry leaders after considerable discussion with individual knifemakers, knife magazine publishers, and a broad section of the knife community, AKTI has been the reasonable and responsible voice of the knife community since 1998.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. Find facts, such as the number of acres of elk habitat the RMEF has conserved or enhanced, the number of RMEF members and chapters across the country, and much more.

Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition
Create, grow and diversify business development opportunities for Pacific Northwest Defense & Security industry businesses.
The opportunity for growth in the Pacific Northwest's defense and security industries is tremendous. Globally competitive industry clusters are thriving in the Northwest, including manufacturing, software, renewable energy, and biotechnology. But while many firms would greatly benefit from working with government agencies, they lack the resources and experience to enter these lucrative partnerships. PNDC bridges these gaps with educational programs, business-to-business networking, and outreach and advocacy with government decision makers.

Service that goes beyond the product
For any company, there should be a commitment to their customers. This is a core principle here at Benchmade. It starts with the most fundamental commitment; making product that meets the needs of our customers and stands up to the rigors of those needs, for life. There is an even deeper level of commitment to customers that goes well beyond the product itself, and that is the act of giving back. Our giving back intiiatives are reserved for those moments our communities need us most. While we hope these moments never come, we will be there if they do.
Our latest giving back campaign aimed to help our first responders who were affected by the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California histroy, the Campfire that ignited on November 8th, 2018. Our team, with the help of our customers, raised funds that would go directly to the first responders who ran towards danger that day to help their neighbors, while their homes and belongings were in danger.Continue Reading
