ID.me is a trusted technology partner to multiple government agencies. They provide secure digital identity verification to help government agencies make sure you're you - and not someone pretending to be you - when you request access to government services online.
ID.me's next-generation identity platform meets the highest federal standards for online identity proofing and authentication, without compromising access for hard-to-identify groups. ID.me's technology is used by more than 6 million individuals and 200 partners, including federal and state agencies, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, retailers, and nonprofits.
Why ID.Me?
In an effort to increase data security regarding our customer's sensitive information, we have implemented ID.me as a third-party service to verify Military/Law Enforcement/Public Safety credentials, allowing Benchmade to offer discounts to verified members of those professional fields.
We cannot ask for, nor store, the appropriate credentials needed to verify said individuals. ID.me is the preeminent verification platform for a safe and secure way to follow proper protocol. Users are only required to sign up for an account once, at which point their credentials can be applied to a variety of participating brands far beyond Benchmade.
How Do I Apply The Discount?
1 - Once you have added an item to you cart, click on the cart icon at the top right of your screen.
2 - Click view and edit cart.
3 - Choose your respective profession.
4 - Sign in or sign up for an ID.me account.
5 - Confirm/Use your discount (Note: It will automatically apply your discount when signed in to your ID.me account).
I Am Having Issues Signing Up Or Getting Verified With ID.Me, What Should I Do?
Since sensitive information is required to sign up with ID.me, Benchmade's Customer Service team is unable to assist in account creation or troubleshooting.
