My wife bought this for me for our anniversary. I carry it everyday and couldn’t be more pleased. Great all around knife. Isn’t big and gaudy, looks nice and classy.

This knife is absolutely amazing! I own 3 Benchmades and this one is now my favorite! Good feel in the hand. Good blade body. I have the ability to fitness and a strong blade when I need it. Went through one whole whitetail last weekend. I used it everywhere from skinning to processing. When I was done, it would still shave the hair off my arm! Wow! This thing can hold an edge!

This is a knife of truly superb quality. The blade, fit, and finish are all far beyond what I was hoping for. Classic Benchmade!

Unfortunately, the sheath is also classic Benchmade—aka hot garbage! It lasted me a few weeks and I had to stop carrying the knife while I ordered a custom kydex replacement. I would have payed 50% more for even a decent sheath out of the box. Why does Benchmade consistently sell nice knives with such miserable sheaths?!?

Recently bought the Hidden Canyon in the wood with leather sheath.Knife is excellent quality, but the sheath after a couple months, the sticking is coming apart. If you are looking at this knife I would go with the kydex model.

I bought one for a friend last year, also good/great hunter that lives off the land and seen how proficient he was with this blade last november when I visited, and 200 lb wild hog fully dressed out 15 minutes how he got the ribs with it was a beautiful thing so sharp.

I ordered this for a simple little knife to use at work quick in and out no frills no screws or hinges to worry about just a sturdy handle and strong blade and something not overly bulky that my coworkers won't freak out over. This knife is a perfect fit

Have used the hidden canyon hunter now for 3 hunting seasons. Gutting skinning and later assisting in deboning deer. Also used it for cleaning, and breasting out a couple of dozen pheasants and Hungarian partridges.
I give it once a while a few strokes on my strop to keep it at my desired sharpness and that means very sharp. All the knife I have needed for game processing. I particular like the handle shape and deep finger choil as well as the upper serrations on the blades back, to rest your finger on up to the point, to get deep into the deer innards to cut the diaphragm without nicking the rumen, or reach deep into the chest to cut the trachea and oesophagus.

This is the perfect knife for both field dressing and skinning game. PROS: easy to belt-carry; light; sharp; easy to maneuver; beautifully constructed. CONS: a bit too small for large-handed people.

This knife is wonderful. I got a laser etching on the blade and it’s a lot more prominent than I thought it’d be. It looks great. The knife is small
enough to conceal carry if that’s your thing. But for hunting it’s the most practical knife I’ve ever owned.

Knife is great, holds a good edge when under constant work. (Skinning)
Fits in hand with nice grip.

Opportunity is the sheath screws fell out and cannot carry knife now.
