SOCP Rescue Tool - Rescue Hooks
Greg Thompson designed the 179 for rescue performance and less-than-lethal self-defense. The tool includes the Benchmade rescue hook design, a carbide glass breaker, O² wrench and the same finger loop and integral sheath design as the rest of the SOCP family. Made in USA.

Posted onI dig thisI have had this for a while and just now an getting around to reviewing it. Not going to lie, it's pretty damn awesome. The hook cuts through clothes fairly easily once you get it going. The only issue I have run into is that the O2 wrench sometimes isn't large enough on some bottles, but that's not a deal breaker. I wear mine on my work pants without the sheath and I dig how it's not very noticeable. I don't know, I just don't like stuff hanging off my uniform that's easy to grab, so it's a bonus for me. It is pricey, but I spent way more on benchmade before. I
definitely recommend it if you got money to burn.
Posted onThe tool combined with the serrated edge dagger are an amazing combination.I admit it...I am a Benchmade addict...I alternate between a Valet and Anthem as my EDC's. But, I struggled with deciding what I would put on my "grab lanyard" that has the critical items I would grab if I needed to move out quickly. Well the answer is here...I added a SCOP Rescue Tool and a SCOP serrated dagger to the lanyard...they are really well-made...surprisingly comfortable grip for such a thin and lightweight devise...these tools are a winner.
