Posted onFinest knife I've ever seenThis is the nicest knife I've ever handled. It's beautiful and incredibly strong, with a fine blade which is easy to keep sharp.
Posted onDifferent knife and loving it!!Absolutely love this new EDC knife, it's replaced my Morpho 51 recently and I'm 100% happy with the change. Very lightweight, the s90v is incredibly sharp and I like the wooden handles that gives the knife a classy look, looking forward to seeing how the handle will petina over time. This knife has quickly become my go to knife for all occasions, and pairs with my style everytime. I normally don't write reviews but when you notice yourself pulling out the knife more often to enjoy it's looks you know you've made a great choice.
Posted onImpressedI've carried a Barrage for EDC for 2 years and love it. The M390 steel is a chore to sharpen, but that was expected. I feel in love with the Crooked River look, so I decided to give it a shot. First impressions are excellent. Very smooth lock and open/close operation - much more smooth that my Barrage was before it was broken in. The Axis mechanism works extremely well for me. It's very sharp, and it's just as gorgeous in person. Time will tell for durability and the S30V steel. I definitely have high expectations for a knife this price, but I am very happy so far.
Posted onGreat knifeI have a four benchmade knives and was looking for a smaller one for everyday carry because I started to conceal carry a pistol and didn’t want a full size knife weighing down my pants along with a pistol. Iv been carrying mine for almost a year now it’s a perfect size built well I really like the stabilized wood grips. I’m very pleased with my knife and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying one.
Posted onAwesome First KnifeI bought this knife while visiting the garden of the gods in Colorado. This knife is perfect for everyday carry and S30V steel is solid and the ergonomics of the knife site perfect in my Med./Lrg size hand. This knife came with a regular clip and decided to go with the deep carry clip instead so it is more "concealed." If you dont own a knife this is a perfect first knife or even a great gift for someone who can benefit from owning a knife. I firmly believe that every good man should own a great knife... and this one is it.
Posted onDisappointed with qualityI purchased a Griptilian about two years ago. It has been an amazing knife and never given me any trouble. The trouble started when I bought a Mini Crooked River directly from the Benchmade factory shop about three months ago. After purchasing the knife I opened and closed it several times and the action was not at all sooth; there was also lock stick. I thought, "No big deal all new Benchmades need breaking in from the factory." The lock stick cleared away, but the action has remained very inconsistent for the three months I have owned and flipped it. Without touching the pivot screw, the knife will sometimes drop shut, but a few flips later it is very stiff and is hard to close. something is uneven within the knife. Fast-forward a few weeks after owning the knife and the lock was suddenly very weak.
The spring was broken; I hadn't even hardly used the knife. I sent the knife back to be fixed; Benchmade was very quick and it was back in two weeks. Three days later, after about 100 times opening and closing the knife, the spring broke again. At this point I wanted to return the knife, so I called and asked about returning it, and they said that if I had used the knife at all they couldn't take it back. I had used it a bit so returning was out of the question. They did send me free return shipping so they could fix it again. Two months later the springs are still working so that is good. I also had a few other small issues that aren't worth mentioning . Sorry for the long review; just trying to include everything. Overall, I hope my knife was a dud and hope to see better from Benchmade in the future.
Posted onMy FavoriteSuch a beautiful knife - picked this up over a year ago, and still carry it daily. Beautiful handle and great feel. My absolute go-to.
Posted onExceptional, Incredible, Exemplary, Top ShelfOrdered a custom Crooked River and was so impressed with the quality of the build I immediately ordered a custom Mini Crooked River to match.
I now have a total of 5 Benchmade knifes. After the first one I was hooked, steel quality, overall build quality, attention to detail is always (best of class).
I know a knife is a tool, my problem is any Benchmade is so beautiful I hate to abuse it as I normally do with knifes. Two of my Benchmade’s are the same (ordered a backup just in case). I am beginning to realize I may never go to my backup because (some of you may be old enough to remember the commercial) It Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking.
Yes, some of them are PRICEY although you would not expect buy a Wilson Combat CQB Elite 1911 for the price of a Rock Island Armory Rock Ultra MS 1911. The old saying holds true (You Get What You Pay For).

Posted onMy favorite EDC- Impossible to beatThis is my forth Benchmade Knife and admittedly my favorite knife ever.
I love the look of the wooden handles. I also custom ordered my Crooked River with the 20CV steel blade and couldn’t be happier. The corrosion protection is outstanding but the really phenomenal breakthrough is the edge retention. I put this cutting blade through the ringer and still holds a super sharp cutting edge.
The only downside to any “highly superior” edge retention is it’s a bear to sharpen. However, THAT is why you must purchase a Benchmade Knife because the sharpening problem is theirs- they sharpen, oil and repair , if needed, the knife for life free of charge.
All I do is mail the knives back to them with a form and within two weeks it is returned to me extremely sharp and cleaned like new. I’ve already used this free service on my other three knives and I’ve been extremely happy. I just sent my favorite Crooked River into them Saturday. I’m confident I’ll get it back sharp as ever.
Crooked river with the 20CV steel is hard, if not impossible, to beat.
Posted onBeautiful KnifeThe Mini Crooked River is as functional as it is good looking. If you are hesitant to purchase just know you won't be disappointed
