Product Review (submitted on August 2, 2018):
This is easily my favorite knife to EDC. The blade geometry is wonderful, it gives you enough belly and a sharp enough tip for anything you would want to do. Its kind of like a mixture of the warn cliff blade, and a drop point blade. The action was butter smooth out of the box and has been since I've had it...with one exception, the pivot screw loves to get loose, even with blue loctite the pivot screw will wiggle itself loose over the course of a few days. I remedied this with red loctite but I really shouldn't have to do that. My blade centering out of the box was hugging the left side, not touching the scales or anything, but off nonetheless. The edge came with a much steeper edge on the left side than the right side. I have since fixed this, but again, I shouldn't have to do that. While I know I sound nit-picky, I'm paying over $180 for a pocket knife, which I have no problem doing, as long as I'm getting a highly quality controlled knife, which I just do not feel like I got. I'm planning on sending mine into Benchmade to get a new blade (I broke my tip off), hopefully they replace the scales, washers, omega spring, screws, and pocket clip as well, I've heard they do that. I also hope when they replace the knives parts that I get a better quality controlled knife altogether. I ordered the deep carry clip and it is absolutely wonderful, I cannot recommend it enough.
