I took my new Grizzly Ridge straight from the box to a West Virginia Black Bear. Field Dressing, quartering, and butchering the entire Bear without hitting the blade with a steel once! I removed the neck roast at the spine, split the ribs on both sides, and finishing the entire process. This knife is still as sharp as when I pulled it out of the box. The weight is right, blade length, balance, and it looks DIRTY I just can't say enough about this knife. -Chef
