This is a follow up to a poor rating I gave the Infidel several months ago because it stopped functioning properly after only a month of carrying it. I was contacted by Benchmade customer service. (I did not call them) They asked me to return the knife for repair. They replaced the defective parts and returned it to me. I waited until now to follow-up in case the knife started giving me problems again. The knife has NOT malfunctioned at all during the last year. If you want to purchase an expensive Benchmade knife and are concerned about customer service and repair not standing behind it then you will not be disappointed. They did right by me.
