Dacian® Micarta de mezclilla azul | Punta de lanza

The Dacian™ is engineered for the everyday carry enthusiast who prefers the unyielding strength of a fixed blade over a standard folder. With a compact 7.57-inch total length, it is purpose-built for daily utility and outdoor work and recreation. It is a strong fit for anyone who needs a tough, full-tang tool that won’t fail under hard use.

The 3.54-inch blade features a highly versatile spear-point profile designed with a broad belly and a strong, centered tip. This geometry excels at daily tasks, offering a balanced combination of excellent slicing control, clean cutting power, and strong piercing capability.

The Dacian™ gives you the structural simplicity and reliability of a fixed blade in a lightweight, compact package. Weighing just 3.37 ounces, it is roughly the size of a large pocket knife, making it easy to maneuver and carry. Its scout-carry leather sheath features a molded Boltaron® insert that retains the knife without the need for a clasp or strap, allowing you to securely mount it to your belt with minimal fuss.

Micarta is a composite material made from layers of fabric or canvas saturated with resin and compressed under heat. The result is a dense, stable handle material that resists moisture and holds up well to heavy use. On the Dacian™, micarta gives the handle a distinctive look while providing a firm, comfortable grip that improves with use as the surface develops a natural patina.

The lateral grooves run the full length of the handle scales, giving the hand consistent contact points across multiple grip positions. This is particularly useful during extended use, where shifting grip is natural. The grooves also help maintain control in wet or demanding conditions without relying on aggressive texturing that can cause fatigue over time.

MagnaCut® runs at 60-62 HRC and delivers strong toughness and corrosion resistance without sacrificing edge retention. For a fixed blade used in daily tasks and outdoor conditions, that means the edge holds up well under hard use and exposure to moisture without requiring intensive upkeep. It also tends to sharpen predictably, which matters for a knife meant to be used regularly.
