Who is the Benchmade Mini Infidel® designed for? +

The Mini Infidel® is a tactical tool engineered for military, law enforcement, and self-reliant users who need a smaller, concealable out-the-front (OTF) automatic. It is specifically built for users who prefer a compact tool, those with smaller hands, or those who need to save valuable space on a tactical vest or duty belt.

How does the Mini Infidel® differ from the full-size Infidel®? +

The Mini has a 3.10" blade and closes to 4.00", compared to the full-size's 3.91" blade and 5.00" closed length. At 3.40 oz, it is also 1.5 oz lighter. The Mini trades some blade length and grip real estate for a more pocket-friendly carry profile.

What makes the Mini Infidel®'s firing button different from other OTF knives? +

Unlike most OTF knives that place the actuation switch on the narrow side of the handle, the Mini Infidel® features a front-loaded firing button on the broad face of the handle. This oversized bi-directional slider provides better thumb leverage, and remains accessible even with tactical gloves on.

Is the Mini Infidel® fully ambidextrous? +

Yes. The centered firing button and symmetrical double-edge dagger blade make it fully ambidextrous, functioning identically for both left and right-handed users.

What is the benefit of D2 Tool Steel on the Mini Infidel®? +

D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel with exceptional strength and wear resistance. On an OTF knife that needs to perform on demand, it holds a durable edge under repeated hard use without rolling or degrading.
